Midlands Innovation Health brings together the region’s best health expertise and facilities from academia, with the NHS and industry, to drive innovation in research and improve the health of our people.
The MI Health partnership coordinates and combines the collective research excellence of seven Midlands Innovation universities: Aston University, University of Birmingham, Keele University, University of Leicester, Loughborough University, University of Nottingham and University of Warwick.
Working closely with Midlands Health Alliance and the Midlands Engine, we collaborate with regional stakeholders to help tackle regional, national and global health challenges.

The Midlands is home to an internationally recognised health and life science cluster. Our region has the largest number of MedTech companies in the UK and we train over 20% of the UK’s medical students. MI health plays a vital part in providing the foundation for one of the world’s most significant concentrations of life science research and application to patient care.
